Elizabeth A. Miller, RN, MSN, is the vice president of care management, diabetes program at White Memorial Medical Center, Adventist Health. Ms. Miller is accountable for the daily operations of the care management team, nurse care managers, social workers and the diabetes program ensuring optimal patient flow through the healthcare continuum of care.
Ms. Miller is also a principal in EAM Consulting, providing consulting services in quality management, utilization management, care management and population health management.
Prior to joining Adventist Health, Ms. Miller was the director of clinical operations, medical services at Brown & Toland Physicians and vice president of healthcare services at Talbert Medical Group, Costa Mesa, Calif. Previously, she was the manager of the ambulatory services department and a care management educator at Physician WebLink; a certification specialist at the American Association of Critical Care Nurses; and a regional utilization management trainer at Private Healthcare Systems.
Ms. Miller is a registered nurse in California. She received an associate's degree in nursing from Modesto (Calif.) Community College, a bachelor's degree in nursing from California State University, Stanislaus, and a master's degree in nursing from California State University, Dominquez Hills.
