Health plans are providing members increasingly with the ability to manage their healthcare and their health benefits online with such abilities as claim status, benefits review, deductible information, account balances, changing address or PCP and requesting a new ID card. Some plans are even distributing provider quality information, health assessments and healthy lifestyle programs and workshops.
During "Moving from High-Tech to High-Touch: How Health Plans Are Providing Robust Personalized Web-Based Services," an audio conference on CD-ROM, you learn about the self-service applications at Blue Cross of Blue Shield of Massachusetts and the impact these initiatives have had.
